USIL, through the Vice Presidency of International Relations, offers many educational and cultural programs to both the USIL community and students from our partner universities, that make up the 270 strategic alliances.
From May 12th to 26th, fourteen students and a professor from University of Northern Iowa in the United States participated in the Cultural Immersion Program, which was carried out in USIL and the Cusco Extension Center. This program included conferences, excursions and practical activities focused on providing a full immersion into the Peruvian, culture, customs and history.
The program included as well, Academic visits to relevant locations in Lima and Cusco, in order to enrich and enhance the experience of the international students. Among these places they visited the Historic Center of Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and many others. The students participated actively in Service Learning activities as part of the Community development project in the Occopata Community.
Around thirteen international from USIL participated in the Academic Field Trip to Cusco, which allowed them to travel to historic city of Cusco, at the heart of the Inca Empire, and learn more about its history through cultural and academic activities.

The first group of students from the College of Hospitality Management, Tourism Administration and Gastronomy flew to Dubai on September 4 for a three-month exchange at The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management (EAHM). The students will take courses for their major in English, following which they will be able to apply for a 3-month internship at one of the hotels or companies in the group.
